Why organisations want a certified OKR coach, not another template
OKR templates are free and everywhere. What most organisations lack is someone who can coach the conversations OKRs force, cycle after cycle.
Strategy loses value in execution
Research by Michael Mankins and Richard Steele, published in Harvard Business Review, found that companies realise only about 63% of the financial performance their strategies promise. OKRs exist to close that gap, and a coach keeps them doing it.
OKRs stall after the first cycle
Few rollouts fail at launch. They fade in the second or third cycle, when check-ins slip and key results turn into task lists. Organisations increasingly want internal champions who can sustain the rhythm, rather than relying on outside consultants indefinitely.
