The OKR Foundation Course (OKR-FC™) is a self-paced, online OKR fundamentals course by OKR International. It teaches the core concepts of Objectives and Key Results — definitions, types, the OKR cycle and common pitfalls — built on the proprietary OKR-BOK™. It is designed for anyone new to OKRs and requires no prior experience.
Yes. The Starter plan is free for 30 days and includes six core modules covering the basics of OKRs. It does not include templates, quizzes, handouts or a digital badge — those are available on the Professional ($99/year) and Expert ($199/year) plans.
The course is self-paced and most learners complete the modules in around 2 to 3 hours in a single sitting. You keep access to the content for a full year, so you can revisit modules whenever you need to.
On the Professional and Expert plans you receive a digital badge and a certificate of completion that can be shared on LinkedIn. This is a certificate course rather than a formal certification — for a credential, progress to the OKR-BOK™ Certified Practitioner or Certified Coach programs.
No. The OKR Foundation Course has no prerequisites and is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some OKR experience who want a structured refresher on the fundamentals.
